The Market came to town ....

Last week the Links Market came to town, this is basically a fun fair that runs the length of the esplanade (it is quite famous and millions of years old). I used to go loads as a teenager, and try to fall on top of the boy I fancied, on some bumpy rides, lol. I wouldn't go now, if it weren't for having a small child, over priced, noisy and crowded. But we managed to have some fun!

Thursday was my lovely friend Hils' 21st (LOL!) birthday, so we took the boys to the park for a picnic and then headed down to 'the market'... they had a great time, and Ethan practically wet himself with excitement on this roller coaster thingy we went on... they also loved this enclosed bouncy castle thing, great for tiring out two small boys. I managed to steer clear of the candyfloss, toffee apples and hot dogs all calling my name (minus 12 weeks until bikini!!)... and came home much lighter of pocket, it is a bit of a rip off really. The biggest swizz was this ghost train, which was absolute cr*p, cost £2 each and lasted max 30 seconds ... a couple of bits of wool dangling in your face, wooo I'm so scared, lol, really pants, felt quite miffed at paying for such a rubbish ride. Will remember to steer clear of that one next year!

Ethan is now back at nursery, only 12 weeks left as a pre-schooler (well 10 as he has a week away at Centre Parcs and a week up at Nanny's in May). I am still trying to get my head around the fact that he is starting school in the summer... yikes!

I have also converted 3 new crafters recently, my lovely neighbour Sandra, Ethan's friend Owen's mum Lisa and an ex-colleague.. so I am being inundated with questions/texts about what to do with an eyelet, what trimmer to get etc etc etc .. all good. It is great to have so many crafty people out there, and it has been really nice to help them get into a hobby that has given me so much over the years (plus I have managed to get rid of a lot of old stash that I would never use now, it is really overwhelming when you start, so I have been really happy to pass on my stuff. That is my good deed for the month, lol!).

The weather has also been lovely, which makes everything seem wonderful at the moment ...I just love when I can get E in his shorts, get those skinny legs out in the sun!!

Only a few days voting left on this round of The Scrapbook Apprentice, so if you haven't voted, pop on over and have a look. There is some really lovely work.

Right, I am off to watch The Tudors!
Night everyone.

I'm back, I'm back!!!

Yayyy I feel much better, yesterday was the first day that I actually felt human! So today has been really full on, trying to get everything done before my boy gets back. Spent 3 hours this morning working with designer/printer to get new marketing materials ready ... a bit cross-eyed now! I made a fairly big decision on Monday, so very excited about my business now!!

We have a busy few days ahead, tomorrow we are having birthday fun with the lovely Hils and Stru, and then we are going on a play date with Michelle and Amy on Friday... I can't wait to have Ethan home .. have really missed him,but he has been having loads of fun with Daddy, so I bet he hasn't missed me at all, hee hee!

Anyway, still got a few bits to finish off.
I am also on a diet for the impending bikini season, yikes... so currently munching away on seeds and nuts..!
More soon

Yawwwwwwnnnnnn....

Ohhh I was very tired yesterday, felt very groggy all day. Didn't get much done, but managed to have a yummy roast chicken for dinner, so that helped. I was even too tired to play with all my new lovely papers that arrived (now that is a worrying sign!). I do have to take a pic of a LO I finished over the weekend, will try and do that later.

Hopefully I will fair better today. I have my last class of this term, then we are on a break for Easter. Not that I will get to put my feet up, I am off down to Birmingham next week for next lot of training!

My next SA parcel should come today ..... exciting, exciting!
Ok, I had better go and see what Ethan is up too... he is very quiet (which usually = naughtiness!!)

Beba's is the best!

I'm having a lovely scrappy day today, got my cousins dance show this evening, so I'm just hanging out scrapping this afternoon... great fun.

I got my jenni bowlin order from US this morning, can't wait to have a play. Here is a LO I have just finished .. the title says it all. This is by far the best hangover cure I have ever found, believe me, I have spent many years trying ... but a fresh orange and mushroom omelette at Beba's corner in Petra (my favourite place in the WHOLE world), is the BEST!! 105 days and we will be there yayyyyyyyy!

Chores ....

Got a load of chores done today, just got to do a trip to Asda, oh joy! I am going to go up while E is at nursery, so I have peace to browse and shop ..... he wont mind, as long as I bring him the promised toy home (he always gets at toy when we do the monthly shop, part bribery, part reward!!).

Here is also a LO I finished last night, I really loved using these stamps, I always forget about stamping and I have millions of them... really should let them see the light of day more often!! Hope you are all enjoying the lovely day.. it is really sunny here and I feel very bright! So bright in fact, that some yummy papers from Sarah's Cards accidentally fell into my basket!

Happy Days....

Had another lovely few days, mainly just chilling and hanging out with Ethan. I have also been approached by a local nursery to come and teach staff and babies, baby sign, so have had a bit of work to do for that.

Got some more stash coming from over the pond ... well it was mostly Jenni B and it was 30% off, so it was a total bargain, and I obviously HAD to! Plus got some me yummy bits from the shop o Hils yesterday .... excellent prices me dear, hee hee and thanks for the Reeces Nutrageous.... a little bit of chocolate heaven, you're an angel!

I have been tinkering with a couple of LOs today .... doing a bit of scrapping before we get our next SA assignment. For some reason I seem to have been scrapping more pictures of me recently ... v odd .. I'm obviously getting used to my ugly mug, hee hee!

Oh check out Miss Katy's stunning new blog, a superstar in the making me thinks .....

Anyway, better go and snuggle with E, as my brother is coming for him soon. He is spending the night as I have a baby sign session at the library tomorrow morning, so they are watching him for me. Wooo hooo a free night!!!

Ciao
